Planning Poker: estimating story points

Planning Poker is a Pro feature (included in Pro and Team) that lets your team estimate story points together during refinement or sprint planning.

How it works

Each participant gets their own deck of cards and privately picks an estimate for the item being discussed. This prevents the first estimate mentioned from anchoring the rest of the team's guesses.

8 card decks

Pick the deck that fits your team: Fibonacci, T-shirt sizes, modified Fibonacci and more — 8 decks in total are available in the poker table settings.

Timer and auto-reveal

Set a timer per item to keep discussions short, and use auto-reveal to flip every card at the same moment once everyone has chosen — so no one sees someone else's estimate early.

A dedicated poker table view

Planning Poker has its own clean poker table view, separate from the retro board, purpose-built for estimation sessions with your team.
