Importing refinement items from Jira

The Jira import is a Pro feature (included in Pro and Team) that lets you pull refinement items straight from Jira, without retyping them by hand.

Read-only via an API token

You connect your Jira environment using an API token. The import is deliberately read-only: Retrospective Lab reads issues from Jira but never writes anything back. Your Jira data stays untouched.

Fetch items to estimate together

Once connected, you fetch the items up for refinement and have them ready to estimate together right away — for example with Planning Poker. No more detours through spreadsheets or copy-paste.

Handy during refinement

This feature is aimed at refinement sessions: the team reviews the imported items, briefly discusses them, and estimates them on the spot, all inside Retrospective Lab.
