What is a burnup chart?
A burnup chart shows completed work climbing toward the total scope. Unlike a burndown, a burnup also shows when scope changes — handy for making scope creep visible.
The lines
- Completed — the work finished so far.
- Scope — the total amount of planned work.
- Ideal — a steady line toward the full scope.
