Exporting a retro (PDF, Markdown, JSON)
Want to share a report of the retro with someone who wasn't there, or archive the board? Export it in whichever format fits best.
Export formats
- PDF — a clean, shareable report: ideal for sending to stakeholders or keeping as sprint documentation.
- Markdown — easy to paste into Confluence, Notion, or a wiki page.
- JSON — the raw board data, handy if you want to process it yourself or connect it to another system.
When exporting comes in handy
- Sharing a report with a product owner, manager, or anyone who missed the retro.
- Archiving, so you build up a history of retros outside the board itself.
- Reporting back on completed action items and success criteria to an external team overview.
Exporting is a Pro feature
Exporting is part of the Pro plan — on the Free plan you can view and facilitate a board, but not export it. Want to try it first? The 7-day Pro trial gives you access with no credit card required.
