Joining without an account

Did your Scrum master or facilitator send you a link to a retrospective? Then there's nothing else you need to do.

Joining via the link

Click the participant link you received (for example over Slack, email or your video-call chat). A board opens in your browser — no app, no extension, no installation.

Picking a name

When you open the link, you choose the name you're shown as on the board. Feel free to use a nickname if that's more comfortable.

Contributing anonymously

You can add cards anonymously, so you can speak freely. The facilitator moves the board through its phases (collect, group, vote, actions); you join in real time along with the rest of the team.

No account, no cost

Joining requires no sign-up and is always free, regardless of your organization's plan. Only the facilitator who creates the board needs an account — see Creating a free account.
